Steel-core, five-layer pans produced with typical high-levels of Japanese skill and composed of special mild steel with superior heat-conduction capabilities, nickel foil and 18-10 stainless steel sandwiched together. The use of nickel foil between the layers reinforces the adhesive strength of the special mild steel and the 18-10 stainless steel, as well as protecting the stainless steel from the corrosive effects of the carbon content of the steel to produce stabilization in the material. |

The steel-core, five-level structure consists of an iron core with superior heat conduction capabilities and stainless steel with amazing heat-retention capabilities. Together these guard against the loss of heat and enable effective cooking by ensuring that heat is distributed evenly throughout the pan.

The lid of the pan is flat and has no knob in order to enhance kitchen storability and ease-of-use. The handle has also been designed to prevent the build-up of dirt and with sufficient space around it for the fingers to facilitate cleaning. As pans are used on a daily basis, we have placed the emphasis on ease-of-use. |
